Joseph Ogbonnaya, professionally known as Dino B, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on October 10, 1992 in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State. Hailing from Igbere in Bende Local Government Area, Dino B is recognized as one of the emerging voices in the evolving Afro highlife movement, blending traditional influences with contemporary sounds.

Dino B began recording music at the age of 13, showing early passion and determination for his craft. Raised alongside his two brothers, Nnamdi, the eldest and Chukwuemeka, the youngest, his upbringing was marked by resilience. After the passing of his father in 2004, his family relocated to Olokoro Village in Umuahia South. In 2011, He experienced another profound loss with the death of his mother, a turning point that strengthened his resolve to pursue success through music.

In 2013, Dino B moved to Warri, where he worked in the mobile phone business. Despite challenges and setbacks, including unfulfilled promises, he remained committed to his artistic journey. He initially built his presence through dance, performing with local groups before fully dedicating himself to music.

He officially began singing and composing songs in 2008, Although he faced difficulties promoting his early work, these formative years helped shape his sound and ambition.

Determined to elevate his career, Dino B relocated to Lagos in 2015, settling in Orile (Sari Iganmu). It was there that he began taking his music career more seriously. Over the years, he has collaborated with notable Nigerian artists, including “Jaiye” featuring Small Doctor, which later had an accompanying music video. He was also featured on “We Outside” in 2014.
